Briyanah Richardson
Women’s Basketball
Saint Peter’s University
Freshman point guard Briyanah Richardson is a 3x MAAC Rookie of the Week Honoree. She has started in 15 out of 17 games so far this season. Richardson had a career high 39 points against Fairfield, which is tied for ninth in the MAAC record book for most points in a conference game, making her the first Peacock to crack the MAAC record book in the category. She became the first Peacock to score over 30 points in a game since Jynae Judson scored 34 points on December 7, 2010, against Lehigh. Richardson now leads the Peacocks in scoring and assists, averaging 14.5 points and 3.6 assists. She averages 30.5 minutes a game for the team, while shooting .462 behind the three-point line and .372 from the field. Richardson currently sits at fourth in the MAAC in points per game.

A sophomore from Chestertown, MD, Camper started the Saints' first 11 games of the season before being sidelined due to injury, averaging 6.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per-game. The 6-6 combo guard scored in double-figures twice, including a season-high 14-point effort at Robert Morris on Dec. 8 to help the team to a 74-71 road victory. He has since returned, helping in the Saints to an early 2-3 MAAC record. A business major, Camper holds a 2.99 cumulative GPA. With his success on the court and in the classroom, Camper was also recently named Siena's Leo Dufort Student Athlete of the Month for December.
