Sophomore Kelsey Childress helped the Golden Griffins to a sweep of Gannon University on Jan. 26th. Childress, an Animal Behavior Environment Conservation major holds a 3.97 GPA. The Lynchburg, Va., native placed first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:14.48) and 200-yard medley relay (1:52.13) against the Golden Knights. The Canisius men topped Gannon 167-125, while the women's team defeated the Golden Knights 182-110.

Jonathan Kasibabu currently leads the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in overall field goal percentage (.596) and rebounding (8.0 rpg) as well as in conference field goal percentage (.694) and rebounding (9.0 rpg). The International Business major has five double-doubles including three against MAAC opponents. Kasibabu also leads the team with 14 blocked shots and places second among his teammates with 21 steals in his 21 starts. For the season, Kasibabu averages a team-best 13.4 points per game against MAAC teams and owns an 11.4 overall scoring average.
