Player of the Week
Megan Fergus, Marist
Sr., Millbrook, NY/Millbrook

Fergus had another dominant week for the Red Foxes, helping lead Marist to a 2-0 record for the week. Against Saint Peter's, Fergus tallied 21 kills, missing out on her career-high of 22 kills by just one. She added a career-high 20 digs, her previous career-high was 10, becoming the first Marist player to record a 20-20 match since 2017, and just the second player to do so since 2010.
 
She followed up that performance with 21 more kills the next day against Rider on a .306 hitting percentage. This time she added 6 digs, 6 total blocks, and a service ace.
 
In total for the week, she averaged 21 kills per match and 4.2 kills per set. She combined for 14 total blocks, 26 digs, an assist, and a service ace.
 
Libero of the Week
Sophia Theriot, Marist

Fr., Carlsbad, CA/La Costa Canyon
Theriot had another great week for Marist, helping to anchor the defense and lead the Red Foxes to a 2-0 weekend, with both wins over MAAC opponents.
 
Sophia set a new career-high in digs in both matches this weekend, totaling 27 against Saint Peter's, and then one upping herself with 28 against Rider. She also matched her career-high with 3 service aces against Rider, and had a .961 serving percentage for the week. She also totaled 12 assists, and had a .952 reception % for the week.

Rookie of the Week
Morgan Romano, Rider
Fr., Oviedo, FL/Hagerty
Freshman Morgan Romano continued to be a threat at the net for the Broncs in three matches last week. In contests against American, Siena, and Marist, she averaged 4.92 kills per set, 1.33 digs per set and 5.46 points per set. At American, she had 12 kills, one dig and one block assist. She followed that up with 24 kills, eight digs, five block assists and one ace in a four-set win against Siena. Romano ended the week with 23 kills, seven digs, one solo block and three block assists in a five-set battle with Marist. Romano currently leads the MAAC in kills, kills per set, points and points per set. This marks the fifth-straight week Romano has been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week.
