Megan Fergus, Marist
Sr., Millbrook, NY/Millbrook
Fergus had an outstanding week for the Red Foxes, helping carry the offensive load without fellow senior Nikki DeSerpa on the court over the weekend. She totaled 50 kills for the week, averaging 16.7 kills per match and 4.17 kills per set. She helped lead Marist to a 3-0 sweep over Niagara on Sunday with a 15-12 kill/dig double-double with three blocks on a .262 hitting percentage. She joined the 1,000 career kills club (9th player in program history) with her 12th kill of the match on Wednesday against Quinnipiac. In total for the week, Fergus had six blocks, 27 digs, two assists, and a .917 serve percentage,
Libero of the Week
Sophia Theriot, Marist
Fr., Carlsbad, CA/La Costa Canyon
Theriot led the Red Fox defense with another outstanding week. In a five-set loss to Canisius on Saturday, Theriot totaled 38 digs, which was the second most ever tallied in a match in program history. She also matched her career-high with eight assists in the match. She had two service aces, both of which were set-clinching points. In total for the week, she had 78 digs on 6.5 digs per set, with a .951 reception percentage. She added 15 assists and two service aces on a .956 serve percentage.

Joelle Battles, Fairfield
Fr., Altadena, CA/Maranatha
Joelle Battles averaged 3.00 kills per frame on .302 hitting from the right side in a pair of 3-0 road sweeps for the Stags. Battles added two digs and two blocks in the wins at Saint Peter's and Rider.

Morgan Romano, Rider
Fr., Oviedo, FL/Hagerty
Freshman opposite Morgan Romano continued her strong play for the Broncs last week in a pair of conference matches. Romano averaged 3.50 kills per set, 2.67 digs per set and 3.83 points per set as Rider went 1-1. In a three-set win over Quinnipiac, Romano had 18 kills, four digs and three block assists. She followed that up with three kills and 12 digs against Fairfield. Romano currently leads the MAAC in kills, kills per set, points and points per set. She has 334 kills this year and that is the most by a Rider freshman since Jaclyn Levi had 350 in 2001.
