Manhattan’s Lindrud and Scaglione Sweep MAAC Cross Country Weekly Awards
Men’s Runner of the Week
Ryan Lindrud, Manhattan
Fr., Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge
Lindrud was the first Jasper finisher at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championship at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY. Lindrud finished eighth place overall with a time of 26:33.5 for the five-mile course. It was his best five-mile time of the season and his first performance in Van Cortlandt Park. Lindrud helped the Jasper men to a second-place team finish.
Women’s Runner of the Week
Andria Scaglione, Manhattan
Fr., Oceanside, NY/Oceanside
Scaglione crossed the finish line first for the Manhattan women at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championship on Oct. 11, finishing sixth overall with a PR time of 18:55.6. This was Scaglione’s first sub-19 5K finish.
