Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Justin Carey, Rider
Sr., Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove
Senior Justin Carey had a strong performance for the Broncs last weekend in a dual meet against Seton Hall. Carey finished first overall in both the 100 back (49.82) and the 100 fly (49.82). He also added a second-place finish in the 100 free for Rider.
Men’s Diver of the Week
Dillon Walles, Rider
Jr., The Woodlands, TX/ The Woodlands High School
Junior Dillon Walles had a strong season debut for the Broncs last week in a dual meet with in state rival Seton Hall. Walles was dominant against the Pirates, winning both the 1M and the 3M. He posted a score of 307.28 in the 3M and he had a total score of 285.82 in the 1M.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Kylie McMahon, Rider
So., Annapolis, MD/ St. Mary’s
Sophomore Kylie McMahon picked up where she left off last season with a strong performance for the Broncs in a dual meet with Seton Hall last weekend. McMahon won the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.17 and she finished in second place in both the 100 fly (59.15) and the 200 fly (2:09.70).
Women’s Diver of the Week
Meg Tomayko, Rider
Sr., Mufreesboro, TN/ Siegel
Senior Meg Tomayko got her season off to a strong start for Rider in a dual meet against in-state foe Seton Hall last weekend. Tomayko won the 1M with a score of 195.97 and she finished second in the 3M with a mark of 237.38.
