Saint Peter’s Lindqvist and Siena’s Lomascolo Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Frederik Lindqvist had a career week in his final two regular season games for Saint Peter’s. The senior recorded two game-winning goals, both coming in overtime, to help notch the MAAC Regular Season Championship for the Peacocks. In the Peacocks' game against Manhattan on Wednesday, Lindqvist put in the golden goal in the 95th minute to give Saint Peter's the 2-1 win. The senior repeated the feat on Saturday in his senior day match against Siena, scoring off a double assist from teammates Jordan Jowers and Philip Smith in the 98th minute to deliver the Peacocks their ninth straight conference win and secure a 9-1 MAAC season, both program records.

Women’s Cross Country
A native of Ballston Lake, New York, Lomascolo earned her first All-MAAC honors and led the team with an eighth-place individual finish at the 2019 MAAC Cross Country Championships last weekend. Lomascolo ran a time of 22:17.99 in the women's 6k and came into the event as the conference's defending Female Runner of the Week after placing sixth in the women's 3k at the CCSU Mini Meet. A 2019 MAAC All-Academic Team member, Lomascolo holds a 3.86 cumulative GPA.
