No. 3 Iona (11-5-1, 6-3-1 MAAC) looks to avenge its Oct. 30 loss to No. 6 Rider (7-7-2, 4-4-2 MAAC). The Broncs won it in double overtime with a goal from Aaron Gabriel to hand the Gaels their only loss at home this season. Iona leads the all-time series 11-10-1 and looks to snap a six-game losing streak against the Broncs.

No. 4 Marist (9-8, 6-4 MAAC) will take on No. 5 Manhattan (6-9-1, 5-4-1 MAAC). Marist defeated Manhattan 3-2 during the teams’ regular season meeting. Marist holds an 11-6-2 all-time lead over the Jaspers, including a 7-1-1 mark at home. In the goal, Manhattan’s Marcellin Gohier and Marist’s Samuel Ilin both boast an identical 72.2 save percentage on the season.

Top-seeded Saint Peter’s comes into Thursday’s semifinal game off of a nine-game winning streak to end the regular season. The Peacocks started conference play with a 2-1 (2OT) loss to No. 2 Quinnipiac before defeating the rest of the MAAC opponents on their schedule. Saint Peter’s can finish the season 8-0 at home with a semifinal and a championship win. The Peacocks will face the lower advancing seed from the first round matchups. Junior Dominic Laws leads the league in shots, points and goals, while sophomore Jamie Davis leads in assists.

Quinnipiac capped off the regular season with a three-game winning streak to secure the No. 2 seed. The Bobcats have appeared in the MAAC Championship in seven consecutive seasons since joining the league in 2013. Quinnipiac will host the higher advancing seed from Sunday’s first round games.
