Amari Johnson, Rider

Senior wing Amari Johnson had a monster performance for the Broncs last week in a 77-63 win over Wagner. Johnson recorded her MAAC-leading fourth double-double of the season thanks to a 24-point, 15-rebound performance against the Seahawks. She shot over 68 percent (11-of-16) from the field. Amari also had three assists, two block and two steals. Amari had two or more blocks in a game for the fourth time this year. She leads the MAAC in total blocks (13) and blocks per game (1.6).
Rookie of the Week
Adia Brisker, Niagara
Fr., Pittsburgh, PA/Penn Hills
Brisker scored a career-high 16 points in Niagara's win over Coppin State. She also led the team in rebounds with eight and in steals with three. She shot 83.3 percent from the field and 100 percent from both the 3-point line and the charity stripe.
