AUSTIN, Texas – Quinnipiac men's soccer graduate student Christian Casagranda has been named to the 2019 Academic All-America® Division I men's soccer team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and announced Thursday.

Casagranda was selected to the Academic All-America® Second Team. The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District® advanced to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot, and Casagranda was voted All-America from that list.
