Rich Kelly, Quinnipiac
Jr., Shelton, CT/Fairfield Prep/Cheshire Academy
Kelly recorded 51 points and eight assists for the Bobcats over two games this past week, including a 36-point performance in a home win vs. New Hampshire on Saturday. Kelly shot 13-of-18 from the floor in the 36-point performance, scoring 28 points in the second half. He had an impressive week shooting 19-of-33 (57.5%) from the floor, and 8-for-15 (53.3%) from distance.
Rookie of the Week
Gary Harris, Jr., Siena
Fr., Los Angeles, CA/Price (Middlebrooks Academy)
Harris led all scorers with a season-high 16 points off the bench in the Saints' lone game last week at Cal Poly. The Los Angeles native added six rebounds and a pair of assists in his return home to California. Harris scored 13 of his points in the first half on 5-7 shooting to stake Siena to a five-point halftime advantage.
