Player of the Week
Stella Johnson, Rider
Jr., Denville, NJ/Morris Catholic
Junior guard Stella Johnson had another impressive week for the Broncs as Rider picked up a pair of MAAC wins. She averaged over 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in wins over Monmouth and Marist. She has helped the Broncs get off to their best 11-game start (9-2) since joining the MAAC. Stella recorded her second double-double of the season against Monmouth. She had 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 15-point win versus the Hawks. She capped her week with 23 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals in a victory over the Red Foxes. For the week, Stella shot over 47 percent (8-of-17) from three-point range and she knocked down 91 percent (11-of-12) of her free throws.

Rookie of the Week
Lou Lopez-Senechal, Fairfield
Fr., Grenoble, France/NABA Academy
Lopez-Senchal led the Stags with 14.5 points per game in Fairfield's 2-0 week while shooting 71 percent from the field. In the win over Canisius, Lopez-Senechal hit six of her nine field goal attempts including both shots from behind the arc. The freshman followed up that performance with a 6-for-8 showing against Niagara. Seven of those points came in the fourth quarter.
