Men’s Track Performer of the Week
Gilbert Kirui, Iona
Gr., Keringet, Kenya/Chabara
Gilbert Kirui won the 5K race at the Fastrack Invitational hosted at Ocean Breeze on Friday. Kirui ran the event in 14:47.23. It is the third fastest time in the conference this season. 
 
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Allie Wilson, Monmouth
Gr., Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven
Wilson, the reigning track performer of the week, finished as the top collegian in the 800M by crossing the finish line in 2:02.65 at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. This time breaks her own school record that she set last week and is also currently the best time in the entire NCAA, which puts her in a good position for the NCAA Championships. 

Women’ Field Performer of the Week
Chibuzo Amonu, Monmouth­­­­
So., Ewing, NJ/Ewing
Amonu won both the weight throw and shot put this weekend at home in the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational. She posted ECAC qualifying marks in both events with marks of 17.46M in the weight throw and 46'7" in the shot put. The weight throw mark is currently second in the MAAC ranks while shot put ranks third in the conference.
