On the men’s side the Broncs finished out the day by winning two out of three events for the men. In the 1-meter dive, the pair of Dillon Walles and Joseph Warker took home first and second place for Rider, respectively. Walles, the 2018 MAAC Men’s Rookie Diver of the Meet, looks to improve on last year’s third place finish the Men’s 3-meter dive. In the Men’s 200 Medley Relay, the Broncs claimed second, falling only to the Bryant University men’s team, composed of Matthew Mays, Tavish Boyle, Micah Ornelas, and Matt Zichelli.
The Fairfield women swept the women’s events on Wednesday, missing out on the 800 Freestyle Relay record they set last year by less than two seconds. The Stags return on Thursday with Sara Ostensen, the 2018 MAAC Most Outstanding Female Swimmer of the Meet as she looks to defend her 500 Freestyle title.
