Niagara’s Moore and Fairfield’s Lopez-Senechal Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award Winners
Player of the Week
Jai Moore, Niagara

Moore started off the week by dropping 30 points in a victory over crosstown rival Canisius, helping NU to its first regular season win over the Griffs since the 2013-14 season. Moore made a career-high 11 field goals and a career-high seven 3-pointers, while also bringing down six rebounds, dishing out four assists and recording four steals. In a tough loss to Siena on Saturday, Moore added 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals. On the week, Moore averaged 20.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game and 3.5 steals per game.
Rookie of the Week
Lou Lopez-Senechal, Fairfield

Lopez-Senechal led the Stags with 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week that featured a dominant win at Siena and a near upset of Quinnipiac. In the victory at Siena, the rookie reached 21 points and nine rebounds while going 9-for-16 from the floor. She had a solid day against Quinnipiac with 15 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and three assists.
