EDISON, New Jersey – Quinnipiac men's basketball graduate guard Cameron Young has been named MAAC Player of the week for the fourth time this season, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Feb. 18.

Young has also been named College Madness National Mid-Major Player of the Week, the CBS Sports/USBWA National Player of the Week, NBC Sports Player of the Week and garnered a multitude of regional and national media attention for his performance.

Young is coming off a historic performance of 55 points in Sunday's win over Siena at the Times Union Center, which is the most points ever scored in that arena. His 55 points is also a Quinnipiac and MAAC record for points in a single game, and is the third-highest point total in all of Division 1 men's basketball over the past 20 years.

With yesterday's 55-point performance, Young is averaging 22.8 points per game - which ranks first among all MAAC players and No. 13 nationally.

The Bobcats return to action Tuesday, Feb. 19, taking on Iona at the People's United Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
