Marist Sweeps MAAC Tennis Weekly Awards

Men’s Player of the Week
Christopher Gladden, Marist
Jr., Pittsburgh, PA
Gladden had a strong day for the Red Foxes, picking up wins in both singles and doubles against Hofstra. Gladden and John Oxner cruised to a 6-2 victory in the number 1 doubles spot. Playing in the number two singles spot, Gladden picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win.

Women’s Player of the Week
Julia Gabay, Marist
So., Saftey Harbor, FL/Laurel Springs High School
Gabay had a spectacular day leading the Red Foxes to a win over Hofstra. Playing in the number one doubles spot with Sam Galu, Gabay earned a hard fought 6-4 win. In the number one singles spot, Gabay picked up a 7-5, 6-4 win over Alejandra Ruffini.
