Young continued his torrid scoring pace for the Bobcats in two games this week, scoring 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game for Quinnipiac. He scored 30 points on Friday night at Canisius, then 22 points in a win at Niagara. Young went 15-of-25 from the floor in total.
Rookie of the Week
Samir Stewart, Manhattan

Stewart averaged a team-leading 15.0 ppg and 3.5 spg while shooting 81.8-percent (8-of-11), including 85.7-percent (6-of-7) from deep. The freshman began the week with 11 points, two assists and two steals in win over Fairfield while going 4-of-5 from the floor. Stewart followed that up with a game-high 19 points (5-for-6 from the floor and 4-of-5 from deep) and a career-high five steals in the victory over Saint Peter's. The first-year Jasper sits sixth in the MAAC in three-point shooting (.418), including a league-leading 59.4 percent (19-of-32) during MAAC play.
