Niagara’s Intas & Fairfield’s Ostensen Win Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards
Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Dominykas Intas, Niagara
So., Toronto, ON
In a dual meet with St. Bonaventure, Intas was a double individual winner. He placed first in the 50 free with a time of 21.32 and first in the 100 free with a time of 46.05. He was also on the relay team that took first place in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:27.51.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Sara Ostensen, Fairfield
So., Staten Island, NY
Ostensen tallied three first-place finishes in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:55.46), the 200 Yard Butterfly (2:08.05), and the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:05.53). She helped the Stags win the Wesleyan Invitational defeating Connecticut College, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Wesleyan University.
