Siena's Kiernan and Canisius's Nordstrom and Buck Collect MAAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Acclaim
Offensive Player of the Week
Jack Kiernan, Siena

Kiernan was an offensive powerhouse for the Saints this past week, helping them to a 2-0 week with wins over St. Bonaventure and Manhattan. Kiernan scored three times against the Bonnies, and then scored six times in a 14-7 win over the Jaspers on Saturday. His nine goals came on just 11 shots, helping the Saints to their first 2-0 start in MAAC play since 2014.
Defensive Player of the Week
Brad Nordstrom, Canisius
R-Sr., Phoenix, AZ/Brophy College Prep
Nordstrom posted season-high 16 saves to help lead Canisius to 8-6 victory over No. 19 Colgate. The Arizona native made 13 of his 16 saves during the final three quarters to limit the Raiders to just three goals over the final 45 minutes of the contest. Nordstrom tallied double-digit saves for the sixth time in seven games this season and chipped two ground balls.
Rookie of the Week
Jacob Buck, Canisius
Fr., Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili
Buck dished out season-high four assists to help lead Canisius to an 8-6 victory over No. 19 Colgate. The four helpers also matched his season high for points. The freshman assisted on three straight tallies during pivotal four-goal spurt in second and third quarters that put the Griffs in front for good. Buck also assisted on insurance marker to open the fourth.
