Player of the Week
Annie Moore, Manhattan
Fr., Northridge, CA/El Camino Real
Moore drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning Sunday to lift the Jaspers over Saint Mary's for the second time in two days. She drove in a team-high six RBI on 10 hits for the week, including three doubles and one home run. Moore compiled a team-best slugging percentage of .667, as well as a .500 on-base percentage. She struck out just three times in 24 at bats. In two games against CCSU on March 13, Moore batted a team-high .667, with two hits and four RBI. She earned a slugging percentage of .833, and an on-base percentage of .750.
 
Pitcher and Rookie of the Week
Calista Phippen, Marist
Fr., Kinderhook, NY/Ichabod Crane
Phippen went 2-0 with a 0.50 ERA this past week. Both of her outings were complete game victories, as she allowed just one earned run in 14 innings while striking out 12. Against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 15, Phippen struck out six against just one walk, and scattered seven hits in a 1-0 Marist victory. Against Santa Clara on March 17, she struck out six in the Red Foxes' 5-2 triumph. Before allowing an earned run in third inning against Santa Clara, Phippen had a streak of 26.1 innings without allowing an earned run. She improved to 6-0 on the season.
