Fourteen Recognized as 2018 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I Scholars of Distinction

GILBERT, AZ – Fourteen MAAC field hockey student-athletes have been recognized as Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I Scholars of Distinction. The Division I Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.
 
Fairfield University led the MAAC with five student-athletes being named to the list. Sacred Heart University was second with four student-athletes being named. Rider University and LIU Brooklyn are both represented twice, and Monmouth University was represented once. See the full list of MAAC student-athletes below.
