Offensive Player of the Week
Alaina Burgess, Manhattan
So., Holden, MA/The Governor’s Academy
Burgess was unstoppable in Manhattan's 15-10 win over Canisius, potting a career-high seven goals, including the go-ahead score. The seven strikes are the most by a MAAC player this season and tied for third-highest in a Division I game in 2019. Burgess had 100-percent accuracy on her seven shots on goal, tallying eight total shots. The sophomore also caused a turnover in the win. Burgess is third on the team with 12 goals this season.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Sammy Horton, Siena
Sr., Oyster Bay, NY/Long Island Lutheran
The senior netminder had a second straight week of great play for the Siena Saints, leading to a perfect 2-0 week with wins over St. Bonaventure and Iona. She made 22 total saves on the week, including a 14 save performance against the Gaels on Saturday. Horton also snagged eight ground balls and caused a turnover, as she now stands just a win away from tying for 5th all-time in Siena wins by a goalie in a single season.

Rookie of the Week
Grace Lipponer, Manhattan
Fr., Lake Grove, NY/Sachem North
The rookie carried her impressive start into conference play, recording two goals, two assists, four ground balls and two caused turnovers in Manhattan’s 15-10 win over Canisius. All of Lipponer’s points came on either a game-tying goal or go-ahead score. On the season, the freshman has 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points, which is second on the team.
