Men’s Golfer of the Week
Mike Winter, Saint Peter’s

Saint Peter’s senior golfer, Mike Winter, led the Peacocks wire-to-wire during the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate from Sunday to Tuesday in Williamsburg, VA at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. Over the three days, Winter was the lone Peacock to shoot all three rounds in the 70’s, carding rounds of 76-75-76=227 (+14). In a field of well over 100 golfers, Winter ended the tournament tied for 37th.
Women’s Golfer of the Week
Annika Espino, Albany
Jr., Honolulu, HI/La Pietra
Espino had a strong showing for the Great Danes over the weekend. The junior shot 74-75-79-228 (7-over) to finish tied for 12th at the Babs Steffens Invitational in Daytona Beach, Florida. Espino tallied 33 pars on the day, while also finishing with seven birdies, giving Albany its best performance of the tournament.
