Manhattan’s Cimillo and Quinnipiac’s Enns Collect MAAC Baseball Weekly Honors

Nick Cimillo, Manhattan

Cimillo hit safely in all three games last weekend at George Washington, while batting a blistering .636 (7-of-11) with a double, home run, four runs and three RBI. The first-year Jasper also drew four walks in posting a .733 OBP with a 1.000 slugging percentage. He reached base safely in all five at-bats in the opener, finishing up 4-for-4 with a double, walk, run and an RBI. In game two, Cimillo hit a solo home run while drawing a free pass. In the finale, the freshman went 2-for-4 with two walks, two runs and an RBI. Cimillo is hitting .444 (16-of-36) with eight runs, one double, two home runs, six RBI and five walks.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Chris Enns, Quinnipiac
Gr., Canton, CT/Canton
Enns took a perfect game into the sixth inning on Saturday in his third start of the season. The graduate student finished the game with a career-high 10 strikeouts and allowed just one run on two hits. Enns perfect game bid was the longest by a Bobcat since Thomas Jankins took a perfect game into the seventh and a no-hitter into the eighth against Iona on April 16, 2016.
