Fairfield Collects MAAC Rowing Weekly Awards
Varsity 8 Boat
Fairfield University
The women's varsity 8 won its event at the Sacred Heart Invitational with a time of 7:43.89, defeating MAAC opponents Manhattan, Sacred Heart, and Iona. The Stags won the race by 12 seconds over the second-place boat.
Varsity 4 Boat
Fairfield University
The Stags varsity 4 boat took home first place at the Sacred Heart Invitational by finishing the course with a time of 8:49.85. Fairfield was nearly 20 seconds better than the second-place shell.
