Szawlowski and Smith Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Szawlowski tallied 11 goals and nine assists in six games in the month of March, including a six-point effort in a 2OT win over Canisius. The junior attempted 26 shots, putting 18 on goal, while winning seven draw controls and picking up eight ground balls.

Smith finished tied for third at the Abarta Coca Cola Lehigh Valley Invite this past Sunday and Monday, firing a one-over 73 on Sunday before finishing strong with a two-under 70 on Monday. The two rounds are Smith's best in two years as a Bronc, with his Monday round being his first under par while at Rider. His effort led the Broncs to a ninth-place finish as a team. Smith has also achieved in the classroom, posting a 3.43 grade-point average.
