Player of the Week
Jerri Ann Orfano, Niagara
Sr., Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls High School
Orfano batted .476 (10-21) and put up seven RBI with two home runs in Niagara’s 5-1 week. The senior first baseman went yard against both Saint Peter’s and Manhattan, including a three-run blast against the Jaspers to aid the Purple Eagles to a weekend sweep in MAAC play.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Alyssa Irons, Monmouth
So., Rock Creek, OH/Jefferson Area
Irons registered a 3-0 record this week, giving up just one run in 20 innings pitched for a 0.35 ERA. Against Princeton on Tuesday, she pitched five shutout innings in the Hawks' 8-0 win. She pitched all 15 innings in two wins over Siena on Monday, giving up just one total run. Irons struck out 20 batters and allowed just six hits during the week.
 
Rookie of the Week
Annie Moore, Manhattan
Fr., Northridge, CA/El Camino Real
Moore earned a 1.154 slugging percentage against MAAC opponents this past week, adding nine RBI in MAAC games and 11 in total. She hit two home runs on the week, including her first career grand slam against Niagara on April 28. In that game, she went 2-3 with five RBI, hitting a double in addition to the grand slam.
