Player of the Week
Ian Ostberg, Quinnipiac
So., Northampton, MA/ Williston-Northampton School
Ian Ostberg was one of the top-hitting Bobcats on the week as he recorded a .600 batting average and .700 on base percentage. Ostberg recorded nine hits in four games and scored nine runs and finished Wednesday's game at UMass just a triple shy of the cycle. He scored four runs in Quinnipiac's 16-9 win over Rider as he reached base in all six plate appearances with two doubles and four walks. The sophomore tripled and drove in two RBIs in the second game of the doubleheader versus the Broncs and scored two runs in the series finale. Ostberg became the first Bobcat to reach 50 hits and now has career-highs with 51 hits, 27 runs scored and 22 RBIs. He has 14 stolen bases this season while ranking fifth with a .331 batting average.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Chris Enns, Quinnipiac
Gr., Canton, CT/Canton
Enns tossed a complete game, one-hitter as part of the Bobcats weekend sweep of Rider in a 7-1 win in game two of Saturday's doubleheader. The only hit he allowed was a slow-roller, infield single to the shortstop. The Connecticut native struck eight batters for the third time this season as he now has 55 strikeouts, good for second on the team. Enns allowed just three baserunners all day against Rider as he improved to 4-4 on the season.
 
Rookie of the Week
Ryan McGee, Siena
Fr., Schenectady, NY/Colonie Central
McGee hit a sensational .591, going 13-22 with four runs scored, three RBI, and a pair of stolen bases spanning five games last week for the Saints. McGee delivered the game-winning hits in each of Siena's final two games of the week vs. Iona, hitting the go-ahead RBI single in the sixth inning of Saturday's series-clinching Game Two win, before delivering another go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning of the series finale to lead the Saints to the sweep. McGee tallied hits in all five games last week highlighted by a pair of four-hit contests, and scored a run in four of five games.
