Monmouth (36-16) defeated Marist (35-22) for the second time this week to earn its second-straight MAAC Softball Championship. Two Hawks went deep in the game, five different players collected RBIs, and six players recorded at least one hit.
The Hawks will move on to the NCAA Tournament and will find out who they play tomorrow night during the NCAA Selection Show at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN2.
