Rashawn Dally Selected to Jamaica's Provisional Roster for 2019 Gold Cup

MIAMI – Former Quinnipiac men's soccer forward Rashawn Dally has been selected to Jamaica's provisional 40-player roster for this summer's Concacaf Gold Cup, as revealed by The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) on Monday, May 20.
 
The submitted 40-man rosters will serve as the basis for the final 23-player squad for each team.  The final rosters will be announced by Concacaf during the first week of June. The 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup will begin on Saturday, June 15 and will conclude with the championship match on Sunday, July 7.
 
Dally – who was taken by Cincinnati with the first pick of the third round (49th overall) – became the first Quinnipiac student-athlete to be selected in the MLS SuperDraft on Jan. 14.

He recorded 16 points and 15 assists in his career with the Bobcats, playing in 78 career games - which ranks tied for No. 5 in program history. He tallied six goals and six assists in 2018 to finish second on the team in total scoring (18 points). Dally recorded 15 points (five goals, five assists) in MAAC play. He was a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Third-Team honoree (2016, 2018), and a three-time All-MAAC performer (2018 first team; 2016, 2017 second team).
 
Dally participated in the 2019 Adidas MLS Player Combine from Jan. 3-9, 2019 in Orlando, Florida – be coming the third student-athlete in Quinnipiac history to be selected to participate in the combine, joining Graciano Brito ('08) and Freddy Hall ('10).
