This will be the graduate student’s first time competing at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, after finishing 32nd in the 10,000M at the 2016 NCAA East Preliminary.

Iona’s Ehab El-Sandali (29:37.87), Jack O’Leary (30:34.91), and Jordan Brannan (33:38.39) competed in the men’s 10,000M, finishing 14th, 29th, and 42nd respectively. Freshman Jamie Dee ran in the men’s 5000M, concluding the race in 14:18.93, to finish 18th.

Wilson qualified at this year’s East Prelims after winning her heat in the women’s 800M with a time of 2:03.86, and finishing third overall. Wilson was named a First Team All-American after finishing fourth in the 800M at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
