MAAC Announces 2019 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team
EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced the 2019 Men’s Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team. A total of 105 student-athletes make up the list. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Marist College placed a league-high 21 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. Monmouth University had 19 student-athletes, followed closely by Rider University with 18. Iona College and Manhattan College each had 12 students-athletes to make the list. Canisius College had 11 student-athletes named to the team, while Siena College placed 10. Saint Peter’s University rounds out the All-Academic Team with two.
