MAAC Announces 2019 Women’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team
EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced the 2019 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team. A total of 151 student-athletes make up the list. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Monmouth University led the way with a league-high 23 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. Marist College and Quinnipiac University follow closely with 22 each, with Rider University placing 21 to the team. Manhattan College had 19 students-athletes make the list, while Canisius College had 11 and Iona College and Siena College each placed 10. Niagara University and Saint Peter’s University round out the All-Academic team placing nine and four, respectively.
