Marist College Sweeps Women’s Rowing Weekly Awards

At the New York State Collegiate Championships on Saturday, May 4 in Saratoga Springs, NY, Marist's Varisty 8 was crowned the NYS Champion. After winning its heat, the crew of Caitlin Green, Bernadette Winby, Elisabeth Kamm, Clodagh Deasy, Sydney Ford, Selena Mildon, Kerriann Ernenwein, Marie Ryden, and Eliza Hartford beat out Ithaca, Hamilton, Colgate, Army and Canisius in the final in 6:42.10 to earn the victory.

At the 2019 New York State Collegiate Championships on Saturday, May 4 at Saratoga Springs, NY, Marist's Second Varsity 8 was crowned the NYS Champion upon winning the 2
nd Varsity 8 race. In a seven-boat final featuring Ithaca, Hamilton, Colgate, Vassar, Canisius, and Manhattan, the Red Foxes finished in 6:57.80. The crew consisted of Isabelle Koch, Shawna Gilson, Lydia Giguere, Kate Beebe, Abbey Gragg, McKenna Klineyoung, Maddy Gragg, Kassandra Nicholson, and Jasmine Miller.
Varsity 4 Boat
Marist College
The Marist Varsity 4, consisting of Breana Pelliccio, Amanda Guy, Sara Barker, Elizabeth Colby, and Morgan Zuch, won its heat in the 2019 New York State Collegiate Championships on Saturday, May 4 at Saratoga Springs, NY. The Red Foxes finished in a time of 8:07.00, ahead of Manhattan, St. John Fisher, Union, Rensselaer, and Binghamton. Marist improved that time in the final, racing in 8:05.26 to place fourth.
