Player of the Week
Cassidy Ceriani, Canisius
Sr., San Diego, CA/Scripps Ranch

Cassidy Ceriani had another excellent weekend for Canisius, totaling 116 assists, 56 digs, 17 kills and seven block assists over three matches to earn a selection to the Charm City Challenge All-Tournament Team. Ceriani opened Friday by tallying 33 assists against Loyola, adding on 17 digs, five kills and four blocks before posting 36 assists later in the day vs. UMBC. The senior also recorded 14 digs, six kills (.286 hitting percentage) and two blocks against the Retrievers. The setter finished the weekend by registering 47 assists, 25 digs six kills and a block against Charlotte on Saturday. In total, Ceriani racked up three double-doubles, averaging 8.92 assists per set, 4.31 digs per set and 1.31 kills per set for the Griffs. The weekend also helped Ceriani reach 3,002 career assists, becoming just the third Canisius player all-time to achieve the 3,000-assist milestone.
 
Libero of the Week
Rachelle Runyon, Rider
Sr., Aliso Viejo, CA/Aliso Niguel
Senior libero Rachelle Runyon continued to be a steadying force on the backline for the Broncs last week at the Henson's Hawk Invitational. Runyon's strong week saw her average nearly six digs per set (5.92) to go along with a serve receive percentage of .938 in 65 total attempts. Runyon started out the week with 29 digs in a four-set battle with UMES and she followed that up with 18 digs versus Robert Morris and 24 digs against Hampton. She has recorded 20 or more digs in five matches this season. She currently leads the conference in total digs and is second in digs per set.

Rookie of the Week
Morgan Romano, Rider
Fr., Oviedo, FL/Hagerty
Freshman Morgan Romano continued her stellar play for the Broncs last week at the Henson's Hawk Invitational hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore. Romano averaged 4.58 kills per set, 3.17 digs per set and over five points per set to go along with a pair of double-doubles. In a four-set battle with the host Hawks, Romano had 22 kills and 12 digs. She followed that up 14 kills and 21 digs versus Robert Morris. Romano ended the week with 19 kills, five aces and five digs against Hampton. The freshman leads the MAAC in kills and kills per set this season. This is Romano’s third-straight Rookie of the Week award.
