Player/Rookie of the Week
Morgan Romano, Rider

Freshman Morgan Romano continued to be a force for Rider last week as the Broncs opened MAAC play with a pair of victories. Romano averaged six kills per set, over seven points per set, and more than two digs per set as Rider defeated Iona and Manhattan. She registered her fifth double-double of the season against Iona thanks to a 12-kill, 13-dig performance. She also added four service aces and three total blocks in the three-set win over the Gaels. She closed the week with a career-high 30 kills in a win at Manhattan. For the week, she registered a .370 attack percentage. She leads the conference in kills, kills per set, points and points per set. This marks the fourth-straight week Romano has collected MAAC Rookie of the Week honors, and first time she has been named Player of the Week.
Libero of the Week
Rachelle Runyon, Rider
Sr., Aliso Viejo, CA/Aliso Niguel
Senior Rachelle Runyon continued her strong play on the backline for the Broncs last week as Rider opened conference play with a pair of wins. Runyon averaged five digs per set and registered a serve-receive percentage of .966 (29-of-30) in victories over Iona and Manhattan. She opened the week with 23 digs in a three-set win over Iona. It was her sixth match this year with 20 or more digs. She closed the week with 12 digs in a four-set win over the Jaspers. This marks the third-straight week Runyon has been named the MAAC Libero of the Week.
