Men’s Track Performer of the Week
Khalid Slocum, Monmouth
Sr., Annepolis, MD/Annapolis
Senior Khalid Slocum broke his own school record in the long jump with a mark of 24.7m., winning at the Wesley Brown Invitational. The Annapolis native then went on to win in the 60-meters and the 200-meter, finishing with times of 6.88 and 21.74, respectively. Slocum now has qualified for IC4As in the long jump, 60-meters, and 200-meters.
 
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Egle Morenaite, Iona
Jr., Klaipeda, Lithuania/Priekules Ievos Simonaitytes Gymnasium
Egle Morenaite raced at the Penn 8 Team Select at Ocean Breeze and finished second in a career-best time of 4:51.96 in the mile race.
 
Men’s Field Performer of the Week
Ayo Oyewole, Rider
So., Colonia, NJ/Colonia
Sophomore Ayo Oyewole had a big performance for the Broncs last weekend at the Gotham Cup. In the one-day event at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, he finished second in the long jump with an IC4A-qualifying mark of 7.10m. That distance is currently second in the MAAC.
 
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Allie Riches, Rider
Fr., Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham
Freshman Allie Riches had another record-breaking performance for the Broncs last week at the Gotham Cup. In the one-day event at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, Riches won the pole vault with a new Rider record and ECAC-qualifying mark of 3.85m. She leads the MAAC in the event by over one foot.
