Tickets Now On Sale for New Jersey Army National Guard 2020 MAAC Esports Championships

Atlantic City, N.J. (Jan 20, 2020) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced tickets for The New Jersey Army National Guard 2020 MAAC Esports Championships are now on sale. The inaugural championships are set for March 13-14 in the Adrian Phillips Theater at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
 
Seven MAAC schools – Canisius, Manhattan, Marist, Niagara, Quinnipiac, Saint Peter’s and Siena will compete in four different games: League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
 
The MAAC champion from League of Legends will be seeded directly into the quarterfinals of the College League of Legends Championship and will compete for the chance to win scholarships and a national title. Other MAAC Champions will also compete in national tournaments. In-season MAAC play begins Saturday in League of Legends while Overwatch, Rocket League, and SuperSmash will begin the first week in February.
 
Single session adult tickets are $20 while an all-session package is $35. Student prices are $15 and $25, respectively. Tickets are available on ticketmaster.com.

One ticket provides access to both basketball and Esports, allows spectators to interact with vendors, and take in the MAAC Fan Fest and MAAC ‘n Cheese Fest. This will provide not only great value for fans, but also an amazing atmosphere for competition.”
 
The New Jersey Army National Guard 2020 MAAC Esports Championships will be held in conjunction with the MAAC Basketball Championships set for March 10-14. The five-day event will also feature MAAC Fan Fest, MAAC Band Jam, Gourmet Dining MAAC ‘n Cheese Fest presented by AC Weekly, Spirit Squad Showcase and more.
 
 Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center are owned and funded by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA). Spectra provides both Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center.
