Jalen Pickett, Siena

Pickett averaged 18.5 points and 8.0 assists while shooting 58% from the field including 50% from three in a perfect 2-0 week for the Saints. He dished out 16 total assists while committing just two turnovers in 74 minutes running the point. Pickett posted 12 points, six rebounds and eight assists to guide Siena over Marist Friday night. On Sunday, Pickett scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the second half - including 14 straight mid-way through the stanza - to lead the Saints over MAAC co-leader Quinnipiac while tying the program's largest margin of victory in five years. Pickett shot 9-13 from the field including 4-6 from three while adding eight more assists.
Rookie of the Week
Tyler Sagl, Marist
Fr., Toronto, Canada/Lincoln Prep
Sagl averaged 20.0 points and shot 47.4% (9-for-19) from three-point range in Marist's two games this week. He also drained all seven of his free-throw attempts. On Jan. 22 against Manhattan, Sagl scored a career-high 23 points, shooting 6-for-12 from the field, 5-for-9 from deep and 6-for-6 from the line, in Marist's 75-73 overtime victory over Manhattan. Sagl scored 10 of the Red Foxes' 13 points in overtime, and was 4-for-4 from the line in the game's final 30 seconds. He then had 17 points, with four three-pointers, at Siena on Jan. 24.
