Saint Peter’s Rachelle Paul and Rider’s Colby Wehner Named to MAAC Sport Committees

Edison, N.J. (Jan 8, 2020) – Saint Peter’s University’s Rachelle Paul and Rider University’s Colby Wehner have been named to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) sport committees, as announced today by the conference office. Paul will serve as the Chair of the MAAC Women’s Soccer Committee and Wehner will serve as the Interim Chair of the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Committee.
 
As committee chairs, both will have integral parts in decisions made regarding their respective sports. In addition, both will serve on the Games Committee for their sports’ championship, which also includes the MAAC championship director and the championship’s head official.
 
Paul was appointed Director of Athletics at Saint Peter’s on Oct. 30 of 2019. Paul boasts more than 15 years of experience in collegiate athletics, most recently at Seton Hall University where she served as the Senior Associate Athletics Director.
 
Wehner currently serves as the Coordinator of Athletics Event Operations/Equipment Manager at Rider. Prior to his time in Lawrenceville, Wehner served as a Director of Championships at the MAAC office for two years.
