Niagara’s Krucko-Moeller and Monmouth’s Moore Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student Athletes of the Week

EDISON, N.J. (Oct. 7, 2020) – Niagara’s Matthew Krucko-Moeller and Monmouth’s A’Liah Moore have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student Athletes of the Week.

Men’s Soccer
In 16 games as a junior in 2019, Krucko-Moeller scored one goal and had a team-high four assists for six points. His goal, against Siena on October 16, 2019, was the first career marker in MAAC play for the back. On the season, he had 20 shots, including nine on goal. Majoring in finance, Krucko-Moeller was featured on the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the MAAC All-Academic Team after the season ended.

Women's Soccer

Junior women’s soccer player A’Liah Moore was recently voted one of four team captains for Monmouth and is considered an exemplary role model to the younger players with the program. A member of the back-to-back MAAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship teams, Moore was an All-Rookie Team selection in 2018 and a MAAC All-Academic Team choice last year. She has six career goals from her forward position, including five against MAAC opponents, and has taken an active role during the Black Lives Matter movement within the team and on campus.
