Player of the Week
Fousseyni Drame, Saint Peter’s
So., Bamako, Mali/ Our Savior New American School (NY)
Fousseyni Drame posted a team-high 31 points over the first two games of his sophomore campaign, helping the Peacocks go 1-1, including an impressive win against La Salle, last week. The Mali native played a key part in Friday's win over the Explorers, as he led the team with 19 points, eight made baskets and three steals, all of which either tied or set career highs; his eight rebounds were two shy of his personal best. For the week, Drame averaged a team-leading 15.5 ppg and hauled down 13 boards (6.5 rpg) while adding a team-high four steals and a block.
 
Rookie of the Week
Tymu Chenery, Quinnipiac
Fr., Philadelphia, PA/Episcopal
Chenery scored 11 points to go along with six rebounds, two blocks and a steal in his first collegiate game. He played 17 total minutes in a Bobcats win, going 3-of-5 from the floor and a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe.
