Niagara’s Roberts and Monmouth’s Louro Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week
EDISON, N.J. (Dec. 23, 2020) – Niagara University’s Justin Roberts and Monmouth University’s Jen Louro have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Men’s Basketball
Justin Roberts is a two-time letter winner on the men's basketball team and has been a stalwart on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. Roberts has started in 33 of his last 37 games, including every game this season, while averaging over seven points per game. Roberts earned MAAC All-Academic Team honors last season as he was a part of a record-setting academic year for the program. Roberts was one of three students, and the only student-athlete, selected to Niagara University's Identifying and Dismantling Racial Injustice Task Force in June 2020.

Women’s Basketball
Monmouth's Jen Louro is off to an impressive start to the 2020-21 season, leading the team with 10.4 points per game. On Tuesday at Saint Joseph's, she led the team with 12 points in a season-high 33 minutes. Louro added two rebounds, an assist, and a block.
