Maya Hyacienth, Rider

Hyacienth erupted for a career-high 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 3-of-7 from long range, and 5-of-6 from the free throw line in the Broncs' first win of the season at NJIT on Wednesday. She also grabbed four rebounds and dished out an assist. Hyacienth's prior career high was seven points, set in her prior game at Iona, while scoring six once as a freshman. Entering Wednesday's game, she'd scored 23 points for the season.
Rookie of the Week
Makayla Firebaugh, Rider
Fr., Winchester, VA/James Woods
Firebaugh had 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals in the Broncs' 57-53 win at NJIT on Wednesday. It was the Broncs' first win of the season and Firebaugh's fourth double-figures scoring output of the season. She's now averaging 8.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, both good for second on the team.
