MAAC Announces Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team
EDISON, N.J. (Dec. 9, 2020) – A total of 114 student-athletes comprise the 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the MAAC announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Marist College led all schools, naming 21 student-athletes to the All-Academic Team. Quinnipiac University followed with 14 selections, Monmouth University and Siena College close behind with 13 and 12 selections, respectively. Iona College had 11 selections, followed by Canisius College and Niagara University with nine student-athletes and Manhattan College and Rider University with seven each. The 2020 Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team was rounded out by Fairfield University with six selections and Saint Peter’s University with five selections.
