Player of the Week
Juana Camilion, Iona
So., Palma De Mallorca, Spain/IES Antonio Maura
Camilion averaged over 17 points in a 2-1 week for Iona, including a 26-point effort in a 60-57 victory over Canisius. The sophomore scored in double-figures in all three contests, shooting 46.7 percent from the floor. Camilion made plays on both sides of the ball, registering four steals and blocking two shots.
 
Rookie of the Week
Paulla Weekes, Iona
Fr., Toronto, Ontario/St. Joseph’s College School
Weekes averaged 9.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in Iona's 2-1 week. Weekes shot nearly 50 percent from the field and knocked down 4-6 tries from beyond the arc. The redshirt freshman also finished the week with a block and seven steals.
