Men’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week

Kaya Gore was victorious in the win-clinching match at No. 1 singles for Fairfield at Colgate on Sunday. Gore earned a 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 win to seal the Stags' 4-3 triumph over the host Raiders. He was also on the verge of a win at No. 1 doubles alongside Jonathan Olive-Blanco, leading 5-2 when the match was abandoned after the Stags clinched the doubles point.
Men’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week
Alester Magalit, Quinnipiac
So., Hong Kong, China
Magalit, the reigning MAAC Rookie of the Year, earned a No. 2 singles win on Sunday against UC Riverside. Magalit defeated Nabil Abdallah of UC Riverside in straight sets (6-2, 6-2), giving him eight singles wins for the 2019-20 season.
Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Aina March, Fairfield
So., Barcelona, Spain
Aina March went 2-0 for the Stags this past Sunday at Colgate. She teamed with Francesca Karman at No. 2 doubles for a 6-1 win as Fairfield claimed the doubles point from the Red Raiders. March was also victorious in straight sets at No. 3 single with a 7-6, 7-5 triumph.
