Marist’s Jones and Monmouth’s Hubbard Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Red-shirt junior center Jordan Jones is succeeding both on the court and in the classroom at Marist. Jones currently ranks fourth in the MAAC with a .535 field goal percentage and has tied his career high with 18 points three times in his last seven games. Over his last seven games, Jones is averaging 12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. He is a Business Administration major who was nominated for this season's MAAC All-Academic Team. Jones played his first two seasons at Charleston Southern before transferring to Marist and sitting out last season. During his red-shirt year, he attended the Black Student-Athlete Summit, hosted by the University of Texas.

Women's Track and Field
Mariah Hubbard won the triple jump at the 2020 MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend at The Armory. Hubbard’s jump of 39’1.25’’ gave her the gold medal, marking the third time in her career she has won the MAAC Indoor Triple Jump championship. Hubbard, a senior, is a Health Studies major.
