2020 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Season Begins
Edison, N.J. (Feb. 6, 2020) – The 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) women’s lacrosse season begins on Friday, Feb. 7 with Canisius College and Iona College both in action.
The Griffs will travel to Central New York to take on ACC foe Syracuse while the Gaels head to Pennsylvania to take on Lehigh. Iona and Manhattan College both welcome new head coaches in Lauren Kahn and Jenna Dingler.
Opening weekend continues on Saturday with Manhattan, Marist College, and co-preseason favorite Fairfield University all taking the field. The Stags start the journey for their third straight MAAC title at home against Holy Cross.
Co-preseason favorite Monmouth University will hold off until Feb. 15 for the team’s season opener, a home matchup against Sacred Heart. The Hawks will look to capture the program’s first ever MAAC Championship, led by 2020 Preseason Player of the Year Nicole Ceraso.
The regular season concludes with the 2020 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship from April 25 to May 2. First round games are hosted by the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, with semifinal and final action hosted by the league’s top seed.

- Siena at Brown – Tuesday, Feb. 18 / 4:00 p.m.
